Convertable eco
The Convertable Eco is a multi height, space saving, coffee table that is easily adaptable, extending and changing height to give a complete dining solution for modern living. Originally designed by Lee Sinclair in 1989 and made by Pintail Studio, the Eco version is just as strong and stable as the Classic. It simply has a slim profile leg and no banded detailing on the tops to make it more affordable as it is a little quicker for us to make.
It moves easily into 4 positions:
1.Small coffee table - 72x72cm top at a height of 46cm
2.Large coffee table - 144x72cm top at a height of 44cm
3.Small dining table - 72x72cm top at a height of 73cm
4.Large dining table - 144x72cm top at a height of 71cm
The Convertable is constructed using traditional furniture making techniques, showing the pride we take in our craftsmanship. The finger joints on the connecting frame and the carefully matched grain patterns of the table tops are evidence of our care and attention to detail.
This is truly a classic design that will never date and the simple mechanism is extremely durable. Every part has been carefully thought about, even down to the triangular feet that help to make the table firm and secure on a variety of surfaces.
The Convertable is still as popular today as when it was first released and is enjoyed by hundreds and hundreds of customers around the world.
The Convertable has featured on many TV programmes and was even a game on BBC's Generation Game in 1991.
